Frio Draw Farms is a family owned and operated farm that focuses on providing high quality lamb and beef to our customers and friends. At Frio Draw Farms we use a holistic approach to farming which focuses on the health and welfare of the animals and the land.

About the sheep

​If you were to visit our farm, you would likely see our sheep grazing either grass, wheat, oats or alfalfa, depending on the season.

Our flock has an average of 600 ewes, protected at night by our guard dogs. We believe that taking care of the flock should be done as naturally as possible, and our sheep are grown hormone free and without the use of unnecessary antibiotic treatments.

About the cattle

Feeding cattle is part of Frio Draw Farms DNA. Tommy has been feeding cattle since he got out of the military in 1987.  We are committed to providing high-quality services and products while preserving the environment for future generations.

Our dogs 

​There would be no farm without our dogs.

We have a kennel of working dogs, mainly border collies, some are retired companions but most of the pack has been trained to work livestock and compete at the highest levels of sheepdog herding. We breed some of our talented dogs and spend most of our free time training our dogs or travelling across the country to compete in USBCHA trials.
